Acquired Brain Injury Ireland recognises the need for the provision of quality information, education and training for people with ABI and staff as well as the wider community.
We are responding to this need through a number of local and national initiatives including conferences and local information evenings.
BRAIN AWARE - Carers Training Programme
A Training Programme for Family Members Caring for and Supporting someone with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) 2009-2011

The overall Programme Aim is to develop the carer’s skills and knowledge of ABI and enable them to respond more appropriately to their family member’s needs
Training programmes will be run at various locations throughout Ireland during 2010 -2011. The training programme will consist of 6 sessions spread out over a number of weeks
