Rehabilitation Assistant
Our Rehabilitation Assistants are highly trained specialists and a crucial part of our team. They work with brain injury survivors on a daily basis, providing the guidance and support they need to achieve their goals.
Rehabilitation Assistants are expert communicators with hands-on experience of the impacts of brain injury for the person and their families. They are constantly building their skills and undergoing ongoing training to ensure they can respond to the needs of those they support.
Management
We offer a range of management opportunities within our rehabilitation services and as part of our national support team.
Our Managers are driven leaders, creative thinkers and champions of our values and culture. They are experts in their field, committed to supporting our teams to do their best work every day and bring the very highest quality of support to survivors of brain injury and their families.
Clinical Team
At Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, all of the services we provide are clinically led.
This brings clinical leadership and innovation to the heart of our work with brain injury survivors, and their families. Our clinical teams include experienced Neuropsychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists – brain injury specialists who support our expert team of Local Service Managers, Case Managers, Team Leaders and Rehabilitation Assistants nationwide.

Career Development
Our teams are highly skilled and qualified in their area. They are passionate about the work they do, and it is important for us to nurture that energy and initiative. We provide ongoing best practice professional training to all members of our team to support them in their roles and help them reach their career goals.
We first opened our doors with one assisted living home in 2000 at a time when there were no dedicated services for people living with a brain injury. Since then, we have grown into a national organisation delivering world-class rehabilitation right across Ireland.
Many of our staff have built their careers at Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, seizing opportunities for promotion and development within and between teams.
