On With Life
Caring for a loved one with an acquired brain injury can be very difficult. That’s why supporting the families and carers of those living with an acquired brain injury is such an important part of what we do.
Programme for Families and Carers
‘On With Life’ is a free, nationwide service open to anyone caring for an adult brain injury survivor.
The primary goal of the programme is to reach as many people as possible throughout Ireland who care for a loved one with an acquired brain injury. We offer information, education, training and support to families which, in turn, will help to reduce isolation, anxiety, and the burden of care.
Programme for Parents and Carers of Under 18s
A brain injury is sudden, devastating, and life-changing for both a child and their parent. Our On With Life Programme supports parents, carers, siblings and professionals working with children or young people with an acquired brain injury.
We provide education and training to help parents and carers cope. Our peer support network also offers an opportunity to share your experience in a confidential, safe place.
You can register using the form here for more information, and one of our team will be in touch with you.
On With Training and Employment for Carers
We understand the challenges that Family Carers experience in finding and retaining employment or returning to training and education.
Our “On With Training & Employment” Programme will deliver tailored training and support to address the practical and emotional challenges met by Family Carers that are transitioning to employment, training or education.
