Volunteer
We are grateful to all volunteers who generously give their time by fundraising and supporting our activities across Ireland. Whoever you are, wherever you’re from and whatever your interests, there is a way you can add value to the daily experiences of the brain injury survivors we support.
Acquired Brain Injury Ireland volunteers play an important role across the range of community fundraising activities we organise each year.
They also help by raising awareness of brain injury within their own networks and communities, by shining a light on this ‘hidden disability’ in Ireland and building the case for better services for survivors. We welcome enquiries from volunteers who wish to support our fundraising efforts at all times.
Occasionally, volunteering opportunities may become available within our community-based rehabilitation programmes. Due to the nature of the services we provide and the range of needs of those we serve, we cannot guarantee volunteer placements within rehabilitation settings. You are welcome to contact us to express your interest in supporting our work. To do so, please email hello@abiireland.ie.
