On Saturday, 4th May, our On With Life Programme For Parents and Carers of Children U18 hosted Family Fun Day at Barretstown and it was an eventful day, full of a variety of activities. The day was held to give families of children living with an acquired brain injury a break and chance to bond with their family members.

Families arrived at Barretstown at 10am and the activities began at 12pm. There was a range of both indoor and outdoor activities for families to choose from, including canoeing, archery, horse riding, arts and crafts, filmmaking, rock climbing and mini golf. Families then enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Barretstown canteen, complete with dancing and entertainment from the Barretstown staff, before heading back out for more activities in the afternoon. A fantastic day was had by all! Thank you to everyone that attended, and to Barretstown for hosting us for this special day.
