Our Tipperary team were delighted to attend and host an information stand at the recent National Stroke Conference at the Cashel Palace Hotel, Tipperary. This event was officially opened by Minister of State for Older People and Housing, Mr. Kieran O’Donnell, T.D. The conference brought together healthcare professionals, stroke survivors, caregivers, and advocates to discuss advances in stroke care, rehabilitation, and community support.
National Stroke Conference 2025
There were a range of impactful presentations and updates throughout the event. The Programme Manager for the National Clinical Programme for Stroke provided insights into the ongoing development of stroke services across Ireland. Attendees also heard about stroke rehabilitation practices in a regional hospital, highlighting both challenges and innovations in post-stroke care.
A particularly moving element of the day was the participation of stroke survivors, who bravely shared their personal journeys of recovery and resilience, bringing the realities of stroke to life for all in attendance.
