Colm is an EMCC accredited, qualified Executive Coach. He has over 30 year’s industry experience in business leadership and commercial roles, predominantly with Glanbia PLC, one of Ireland’s leading public companies. Colm worked in various commercial roles in Glanbia until ultimately working as CEO Glanbia Agribusiness from 2006 to 2019. During his time as CEO, the business increased both revenues and market share while also building new capability in online platforms as well as building global supply partnerships. Colm also led a number of complex business transformation projects involving changes to operating model, organisational and process redesign. A key focus for Colm was team development to deliver business results. Colm was a member of the Group Management Committee of Glanbia PLC from 2010 to 2016. Colm’s Executive Coaching assignments have included work with senior leaders and business owners across the private and public sectors. He has supported these leaders, working across areas ranging from their own leadership impact, leading complex projects, the management of culture, implementing change processes and team development. Colm draws on his commercial experience to engage in impactful conversations and interventions, enabling leaders to deliver improved results for themselves and their businesses.
Colm qualified with a Professional Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching and a Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance from UCD Smurfit Business School. He holds a Master of Business and Administration from Dublin City University and a Degree in Agricultural Science (Economics) from UCD. He is a Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
