Are you caring for a loved one with an acquired brain injury?

Our On With Life team would like to invite you to a one-day event as part of our On With Training and Employment – Building Brighter Futures programme. This event, ‘Skills, Support & Self-Care: Building Brighter Futures in Training and Employment’ will provide you with the resources you need to strengthen your journey as a Carer while reflecting on your personal and professional goals.

This day is dedicated to supporting family carers and former carers. It offers a meaningful opportunity to:

• Learn and reflect through inspiring guest speaker sessions.
• Take part in mindfulness and wellbeing activities to relax and recharge.
• Connect with fellow participants in a supportive and uplifting space.

Event Highlights:

The morning session, delivered by WorkEqual, will focus on confidence-building, styling tips and information on how to access WorkEqual’s free supports and services. Each participant will also receive an amazing goodie bag.

In the afternoon, we will shift into a more restorative and holistic space, centred on self-care, with interactive activities.

To support your attendance, we are also providing:
• Hot lunch and refreshments.
• Travel expenses and support.

On With Training and Employment – Building Brighter Futures is a free, flexible support programme, fully funded by the Department of Social Protection through the Dormant Accounts Fund. A newly established third strand of our On With Life programme, this programme is tailored to support family carers or former carers to return to education, training, or employment, or simply gain confidence and clarity about next steps.

Highlights of support in this programme include:
• No fixed hours – designed with flexibility in mind.
• One-to-one personalised support.
• Guidance counselling sessions.
• Financial help for skill development.
• Online peer support & emotional well-being resources.
• CV and interview prep, IT training.
• Well-being Supports.
