Seeking participants for focus group as part of TCD study on ‘Acquired Brain Injury Case Management and its Role in the Rehabilitation Pathway in Ireland’

Are you a health or social care professional working with an adult living with an acquired brain injury? Our research team wants to hear from you. See more details below.

What: max. 2-hour online focus group

When: 3 June 2025, 11am – 1pm

Where: Online, via Microsoft Teams

Who: Health and care professionals working with adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI) across all care settings who have experience referring patients to ABI case managers. If you have since retired, or changed roles, but have experience in a referring role, you are still eligible to participate.

We have commissioned this research and it is being carried out by a team at the Centre for Health Policy & Management, Trinity College Dublin. The study explores the role of the ABI case manager and their contribution to the rehabilitation pathway in Ireland.

To better understand the case manager role, the team are conducting a series of focus groups and are now recruiting for health and social care professionals working across all settings who have experience referring patients to ABI case managers. They are interested in hearing your perspective on the role of case managers in the rehabilitation pathway.
