We are delighted to share that our partner organisation, Anvers Housing will be presenting at the International Social Housing Festival (ISHF), which is taking place in the Convention Centre, Dublin from 4th to 6th June 2025.
Anvers Housing To Present at International Social Housing Festival 2025 in Dublin

The ISHF is an initiative of Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Cooperative and Social Housing, and its members and allies, present in 31 countries and encompassing 25 million dwellings, 11% of the housing stock in the European Union. This year, it will bring some of the brightest minds from all across the world to Dublin to discuss how the right to housing can be brought back to the people. There will be several symposiums throughout the event, and Anvers Housing is delighted to be presenting at the symposium titled Building Blocks for Inclusive Communities: Housing, Health and Rights. This symposium will take place on 5th June at 11am and will explore how health, housing, and human rights intersect to build accessible and inclusive communities in Ireland. Speakers will highlight research, current policy, practical application, the lived experience of disability & housing, and systemic changes needed to create lasting impact. Anvers Board Director, Rodd Bond (pictured below on the left) will present at the symposium.

Brain injury survivor and Anvers Board Director, Brian Hogan will also participate in the symposium, sharing his lived experience of acquired brain injury and the value of housing with support. Brian acquired a brain injury in his early 30s as a result of a one-punch assault. Since then, he has made incredible strives in his recovery. Up until recently Brian has been living at our Clarecastle assisted living service. Now, he is living in his own home with support from Anvers Housing and ABI Ireland. Brian’s story shows the impact of housing with support for brain injury survivors. We are looking forward to hearing more about his story at the symposium. You can find out more about the symposium here.
