‘Waiting for James’ is a powerful collection of poems written by local poet John Saunders. These poems tell the story of John’s family’s journey after a brain injury. His son, James, sustained a life-changing acquired brain injury in a road traffic accident in 2019 and his life was turned upside down.
Through a deeply personal collection of poems, John captures the fear, uncertainty, hope and resilience that followed in the aftermath of James’ injury.
All proceeds from this book go towards helping brain injury survivors in Ireland.
