For too many people, surviving a brain injury isn’t where the fight ends, it’s where it begins.
Fight For Our Lives
Support brain injury survivors to live the life they fought for!
Anyone who has survived the trauma of a brain injury or stroke should be able to get the support they need to rebuild their shattered lives, no matter where they live.
But years of underinvestment in community rehabilitation services and a failure to implement national policy have left thousands of survivors and families feeling lost and abandoned on their recovery journey.
We are calling on all candidates in this year’s General Election to uphold the human rights of brain injury survivors and prioritise funding for vital rehabilitation, so that they can live the lives they fought for.

Share Your Story
Have you been affected by a brain injury? Acquired brain injury affects approximately 120,000 people and their families across Ireland, changing their lives completely. Whether you are living with a brain injury or your loved one is living with a brain injury, we would like to hear your story.
Share your story with us on any of our social media platforms, which you can access here or email communications@abiireland.ie. With your permission, we will then share your story on our social media platforms and website to raise awareness.
Together, we can raise awareness of this hidden disability and encourage real change!
