We are delighted to share our Wexford Clubhouse won best display at the 2024 Fleadh Cheoil Window Display Competition and the service was awarded €1,000. A few weeks ago, Wexford Borough District invited local businesses in Wexford Town to create displays celebrating Wexford Town hosting Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024 and this is our Wexford Clubhouse’s entry. Our members have spent three weeks working on this incredible window display and we are so proud of all their hard work.
The theme of the window display competition was “Wexford Welcomes Fleadh 2024”. Businesses participating were encouraged to make sustainable and environmentally friendly design choices, with particular attention to:
- Use of Reuse/Recycle Material
- Creativity and Visual Impact
- Incorporation of Wexford in the design
- Incorporation of Fleadh in the design.
